To set the scene, we arrive at the ferry terminal to get the boat from Magilligan to Greencastle, pre Ballyliffen 2008 and were greeted by a country bumpkin who came out with a few in my top ten! I pulled the van over at the gate and he looked inside to see 6 well dressed gents looking rough as hell. He sized the van and us up, popped his head in the van for a look and then asked inquisitively, showing remarkable skills of observation “youu’s g’lfers?”.
“Yep” I replied.
“Jammy fu*kers (shake of head), park over there” and he strolled off. |
